Just a note guys and gals, the folks from Hasbro will be making a clone trooper blaster. I'm a big fan of the $20 oops I lost my blaster or it broke guns. :-)

 

The gun looks pretty darn nice, a little sanding, paint and distressing .. and it could look great.

Cool, but its small very small for a kids hands. But I'll still buy one for me use as a reference to go by some what. It looks really good for hasbro and so does the rebel blaster it looks good to, but both are to small, they built them for kids hands. The DC-15B has a two finger trigger, theyer's has a one finger trigger and have added on a few things to it. All and all it looks great. I perfer to build my own blasters all but the scout blaster. Do have any idea when they will be out?

The Hasbro one looks small, inaccurate as heck and looks ... well like a toy.

That's why you are suppose to MOD the "toy" into a sweet looking replica....with techniques learned on BSN

But you can't mod it to make it scaled bigger. The thing literally is sized to fit in a child's hands. An adult carrying it would look ridiculous.

Plus it has the giant sight box on top which would be difficult to cut off and smooth over

 

I don't think its gonna light up the costuming world, i'll stick to my resin clunker

Would this be ok to use on a Kashyyk scout costume.

i looked at this in person and its way to small. but the clone commander blaster looks prety nice. do you think it would pass with some mods.
