glove question?

I was about to order my gloves. and while trying to make a game plan for my glove build i got confused about the placement of the grey peice on the forearm. i saw that some people have them on the inside of their forarm and some have them on the outside. in this pic dave posted it looks to be on the side

 

where should i put mine

if you holding a blaster, the greeb would sit on top of the forarm. so that is where the confusion is coming from. some pics it looks like it is on the inside , then on the outside. but they are on top of the forearm.

so they should be on top when holdin the blaster. so they should be like yours (on the inside when your holding your arm out strait palms down) like this.

yeah, if you are holding your hands out palms down , they should be on the inside of the forearm.
