Question about legpouches

Hi fellow KTs

 

I have my british desert bdu and i starting to modify the shirt 'mrbunglestyle'

 

But i was wondering if anyone has measerments about how big and where exact the legpouches go. ihave to remove them from the pants but i'm a bit unsure where exact to put them back on.

 

And oh, how would be the best way to reattach them on the pants again?

i will get some measurements when i get home tonight. i had a girl make them for me. they are half the size of the regular pockets that are on the pants. i took both pockets off and used them. i also took the shirt pockets of and made a neck seal of sorts to cover the buttons on front of the shirt and used the left over material on the pants pockets.

i would also get lonescout's measurements too. since i copied what he did on his pants.

The shirt won't be a problem i will modify it like yours but i want to be sure about the size and where because i don't want that they are in the way of the pouches that hang on the belt.

my leg pouches measure 7X5 inches. the girl that did mine said she opend the leg on the side and sowed the pouches on then sewed the leg up. hope that helps.

BTw, How 'high' did you make them? I mean if your laying the pants flat en then upwards.

 

I'm looking at ref pics but i can't seem to make my mind up...

mine are just below the zipper. but i have short legs.

Did you remove the backpocket?

they are about an inch thick , on my pants there where no back pockets, just the cargo pouches and the regular pants pockets.
