Guest Vodika Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 Thanks for the reply guys. I printed the color that heatshock says and it's just a fraction lighter than my color. Need to check in the store again. @Mrbungle : Where would u use the lighter green?
mrbungle Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 there are only 2 greens, the base color which is such a loght green that it is almost tan and the green in your camo pattern.
Guest Vodika Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 So u would use the 'tan' color and this lighter green for cammo? Not the darker one?
mrbungle Posted September 27, 2009 Author Posted September 27, 2009 use the color heatshock pointed out for the base color and use that green in your pic for the camo.
Guest Vodika Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 How about this? I printed the color out that Heatschock pointed out, laid it against every cap and this one was spot on...
mrbungle Posted September 28, 2009 Author Posted September 28, 2009 that's looking good. i would go with that.
Heatshock Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 close enough mate should do for the base colour
Guest Vodika Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Oké then, the light green is out the door, and all the rest can stay to paint my armor... oh...wait...i have to do that myself??? what kinda paint are you guys....
chadD Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 In the CRL discussion it says "Krylon Khaki Tan" for the base color. Is that the latest and greatest, or is the mix you have shown here the best so far? Thanks, Chad
mrbungle Posted October 6, 2009 Author Posted October 6, 2009 this color i had mixed is the best so far, the krylon tan is too dark.
Guest Skupilkinson Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I don't remember reading this first time round? Nate, thanks very much for posting the base colour link mate. Though I'm not happy at having to brush paint my armor, I'd much rather have a good colour match so this is much appreciated!
