Hi, I have seen that the glove thread has stalled so I decided to have a go myself at the glove. I made up some molds for the padding on the back of the hand and the nuckles and a mold for the bit on the wrist / arm. This was my first crack at ever pouring silicone. Usuallly I completely SNAFU things but I was pretty happy with my first go. Next time I need to do the color lighter and work more to get rid of the bubbles.

looks pretty cool but i would think the gloves need to be leather.

just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I know. I have about 3 different pairs that I am working with. That was just for illustration only, not the final pair.

I have a pair of leather gloves to use, I just need to make the padding on the back of the hand and knuckles bigger. Thanks for the input.

Well Guys, I have finished my gloves to a point where I am happy with them at the moment. I based them off Angelo's gloves, I hope you don't mind buddy, as I am looking at your trooper for guidance. Any and all feedback welcome.

they look pretty good except i like the front pads better on the first pair you did.

the pads need to be seperate and a little smaller.

Thanks for the feedback. I will work on it before approval.

Thanks Angelo. I really like the pics from SWW. I checked out the footage from previous SWW on youtube. I am definately coming out for that next year.

Yeah, I liked the first set but the main problem is the base glove. The gloves in the first pic are material and not leather, and the padding I cut out of the top was smaller. The second pair are leather, but the padding on the back was big and entirely the wrong shape to just colour. I had to cut it out and cover it with the silicone pad that I poured. I am going back to look for a better base glove and to redo the padding on the back of the hand. Thanks for the input. Any reccomendations where I can get a better glove feel free to tell me.

I also thought abt fencing gloves, they got the nice length, plus the single pad at back, but they only ever come in white :(
