mrbungle
if you bought one of my helmets or phgfett's helmets and connot find the correct lens tint. here is where i found it. http://www.concordwindowfilms.com/osc/prod...products_id=132 you have to buy it by the roll , so if you and some friends can go in on it, you will save some cash. you can only use the top 6 inches of roll because it fades into a dark green that is useable for tk's or other helmets. you have to support it with plexiglass or some other clear plastic. this is the same tint i used on my helmet. thought i would put that out there for you guys. Acrylikhan
How do you apply it to the plexiglass? That's the only thing I do not know.
mrbungle
i just used water in between the tint and the plexiglass, then hot glued the lens into place.
Acrylikhan
Wow... The tint is that easy to install!
Peaches_DC
Spray the lense with soapy water, and then apply the tint. After you get the tint in place use a squeegy (or similar) to press the water out of the tint from the center out. Thats about it. Make sure that the lense is totally cleaned just before you put the tint on because you'll get bump and lumps in it if not. The soapy water will let you maneuver the tint into position before the adhesive sticks to the lense.
