I think someone asked already about jango boots and they said without a very large order, they won't make them.

The soles are not sewn on but pressure molded onto the leather uppers (basically melted rubber into the fabric) which costs a considerable amount of money to make.

But good luck, maybe if we keep asking they will make a jango/barc/GM boot LOL

I'd ask them if a CAD model would help. We could use a common boot for the outline figures and then work up the barc (and scout?) boot sole features.

Problem is that the expected sales of such a special boot won't be that high to be economic I think.

Here is the email Joey sent me a while back on these boots-

Hey guys here is the respone from Ca boots-

Unfortunatley the sole is an injection molded sole,

So in order to make this boot, it would have to be made in a large

quantity - like about 500 - 1000 pairs.

To make short runs, in the quanities your asking about - 5 - 10 pairs,

we

would have to consider a different sole.

Please include all previous emails with your response.

Sincerely

Joey

Well it is a valid hiking boot design - they could base an own hiking boot design on it next to the few trooper boots. (goes for both actually)
