Guest brujoloco
hello, I'm trying to do the boot vinyl conversion, but I was wandering if I could get approved if I use a pair of doc-marten's wellington boots as you can see all I would have to do is wrap them with vinyl, they have the brown sole and they're comfortable as hell, I have them at home and it would be easier, for me to do this, I'm still working on my armor and I want to get my pathfinder status, if not possible no biggie, thanx in advance, also who should I contact to submit my pictures when my armor is ready. OOPs wrong forum, will post at the boot armory forum, thanx
Thumper
From the picture you've posted, the sole looks ok in color but it's hard to tell. That being said, with any boot, al you have to do is wrap them in vinyl to get the right look. Some boots may not take as well to the process as others. The only thing to do is try and see. Also, the boots I used I bought at Payless for $20. They are comfortable, cheap (why ruin the Doc Marten's?) and work well. Good luck and let us see them as you go if you try it.
