The green ink wash really sets it off.

~Mike

Any suggestions for what to use if you can't find any Citadel - light green Ink per the helmet tutorial? I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions about how to make up an ink wash.

I found the citadel paint, but not the ink, <_< so for the wash i used Golden(brand) transparent light green air brush paint and a damp rag. took a few tries to get it right, but the final product worked out great! Plus it cleans up with water. I got the airbrush ink at an art supply store. :D

Goto Iron wind metals web site (miniatures website for war games)

They took over Citadel paints and inks - you can buy buckets from them directly via the phone or email -

I got like 10 containers the other day. Their website shows only ink kits, but if you call, you can get single pots of it. :)

I told them a few others may be calling and she promised to hook you up.

Where did you find the lens?

Thanks.

found it on a motor cycle helmet supply web site.

Lens

takes a bit of playing around with but works nicely. I still need to get pics up on here...lol

Thanks. Was it easy to bend?

not bad, a little heat then set about 15 lbs of books on top of it. it slowly went flat. easy to heat it to much but you can get two lens's out of one visor.

Thanks. That sound like the way to go. Now only if I could find someone to split one with.
