TD 5491 Posted February 17, 2008 Posted February 17, 2008 I've read just about all the threds in this section and besides all of them being a few weeks old, it seems that the boot quest is still afoot? (no pun, LOL)
Sentinel Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 More than likely they've not yet found a definite fit for all persons interested in the costume. I got my base pair from some old boots I used to play paintball in; and had to cut the arch out myself.

Thanks for the reply bro:) I've been looking around for some and found a few snow boots that could be moded to resemble some but still nothing sold. I did talk with a local boot maker and he said if I have some good pictures he could probably make them. So I'm still on the hunt. Thanks again brother ! peace

Guest Masterson Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Hey all... I found these today. Wanting a little feedback if possible. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ME:B:EF:US:1123 They are made by Mil-Spec Plus. Desert Tan Tactical Boot with what looks like a very high arch and squared toe. The sole is already tan, fairly thick. Let me know what ya'll think please. Thanks!
sovknight Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I think those are about as close as you're going to get without having them custom-made. And for $50, you can't go wrong. I think I may pick up a pair.

Are they still being produced... and do they come in a size 13 or 14?
Guest Masterson Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 This looks like a great candidate! Are they still being produced... and do they come in a size 13 or 14? They look like a modern run so I assume they are still in poduction, though dont quote me on that. As for the size I can't say I looked. Try the Ebay link above and go to the sellers store to see what sized he has available. I've also found several other sites that carry them - a simple google search for "tactical boot" should pull up a number of retail stores you could check for your size. Good luck.
mrbungle Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 there is a guy on TDH that is making a run of jango fett boots and ks boots. but the project has hit a wall. i am hoping he gets it together so i can get a pair. $250 a pair i think. http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=26849 http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30125

I purchased a pair for $50.00 and they have size 13. So if I don't like them they will be nice Hiking shoes. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=336749
