Great work. Are you leaving the gauntlets as is or backing them with something?

Looks great Mike! Do you know what brand those gloves are? looks like a great base. My only comment would be that in some of the shots it looks to me like the rubber/padding on the hand are two seperate pieces versus one... but most of the screen caps have blurry hands so hard to tell :\

The pieces are probably seperate but I never seen them with a gap between them so I sculpted them together with the seam sculpted in. It was also easier to attach to the glove as well.

Yeah... they are very close together if they are seperate... and I would guess that weathering would make the seam more seam like (I know that doesn't sound right but not sure how else to say it )

Yeah, I'm going to throw down some black ink on it tonight to deepen that seam and around the rubber piece.

Looking good Mike! I think the ink wash really helped the seperation between the two parts of the pad

They look good mike real good, but they should be more round on the corners and thicker too so they look like they have padding in them.Also they should be 2 pieces the gap between them is little more then what you have there. But damn they look good.

 

Now wheres that package so we can get going on the soft stuff?????

The corners would look a little more round if the pad was thicker. Two things I noticed I will change on version 1.1

1. Make pads about 1/8 thicker.

2. Belive it or not the knuckle pad is not as long as the back of hand pad, I just noticed this.

and possibly increase the gap between the pads a tad.

Without the camo material the soft stuff is gonna have to wait for the time being. I have way to much stuff to finish up and don't want to rush anything. I want to prototype everything first for refinement issues. It takes me a while to do this plus work on other projects I have in the works. Feel free to work up something of your own if need be, the more ideas the better.

 

I plan on passing these off after they are done as well.

Hey Mike we are planning on mocking up the gloves we have here this weekend with leather pads, will post or send pix to you.
