Guest Thallion
In my never ending shoe browsing.. I ran into these.... http://www.shoes.com/product.asp?p=5016382...ariant_id=76440 What an interesting pair of shoes to maybe use as bounty hunter bases... (I make no claim to have a clue how close or off they are since i haven't studied that particular costume at all...) That is just what I thought when I saw them. Guest torso_boy
the swat boot soles look really good. but you'll need to do some custom work to get the top of the boot to fit under your shin armor comfortably. keep in mind, the boots on the GM/BARC flow seamlessly into the bottom of the shin armor. so if you choose to use a taller boot, make sure it has a very thin, ankle-hugging top profile so it can fit under your shin armor better. those swat boots might work, but we can never tell until they are worn on a person. TB-7076
Those are McAllisters judging from the sole and colour.
Guest optimus mime
Those boots that ArmyScout found are pretty darn close i think. (considering that their are no REAL boots to work with) I am not sure if you will find another boot that resembles it as well, and those boots look like they would last a long time, quality-wise. Guest skywalker_1982
Them turners boots what would be the best way to cut out the arch in the sole?I mean even using the most sharpest blade you are not going to end up with a nice clean cut. TB-7076
You probably have to do mor ethan just cutting - yes. The problem I see is that all these boots completely lack the frame. they only have the arch but not htis massive outline. Something that needs to be modelled somehow. TB-7076
It has been way too big in resolution and also in more than 72 dpi. I guess there is a limit for attachments and bigger files must get hosted on private webspace and then linked via image tag or hotlink. Katscan
Still trying to find a pic but the other day I ran into an individual out here and he had a pair of boots that had a covering that resembled the armor covering on the Barc trooper. He said he got his boots from IronEagle and Ive scoured the net to find them yet no luck so far But his boot looked like it was modified to add a leather covering that sat above the boot like how its pictured.....still trying to find that darn boot! Acrylikhan
I do like the "high" boot version... and cheap in my size! Coyote tan is the "correct" color we're looking for?
