Magnets or Velcro

So I’m a pretty thin guy and most of the time with many costumes I’ve done I’ve had to use either Velcro or magnets to keep costumes/pros and armor up.

My main question here with this specific armor build is what do most prefer?

I feel like Velcro in some areas and magnets in others and then in that case how is everyone attaching in these materials to the suit and armor?

 

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated as this will still be my most in-depth costume build and would like to make sure everything is perfect and just right!

I’ll second the Velcro. It’ll allow for a little more flexibility in placement and adjustment than magnets and Scouts tend to be a little more active on troops due the ease of movement and flexibility (I know I am). No worries about an armor piece getting hung up on something and popping off with magnets.
