SMilt
Hi all - I’ve been slowly modifying a new to me kit and facing an issue with my Greaves. As you can see the backs aren’t up to snuff. Can you help me decide the best path forward (should I try cutting them) or are there any suggestions to get these meeting standards? Thanks! MikeRadness
Hey @SMilt! Thanks for the additional shots. You MAY be able to get these repaired by using some ABS and ABS paste (ABS scraps and acetone). If you chose to go that route just look at some reference shots. And do your best. But, to me It looks like the previous owner has made some mods that may not be salvageable. I leave this open to other opinions from the team. However, I hate to say this, if this were my build I might consider looking for some replacements. May cost a little, but save lots of time in the long run. And most likely be happier. 1
SMilt
Thank you!I sent 850 a note for a quote. I spent most of my time on the chest but it’s good to get the expert advice - appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

However, even if the molding was correct in the back, don't forget you are still missing the extra layer strip that goes over the cover strip! Usually just gluing down a strip of ABS over the cover strip gets the job done
SMilt
Yeah they’re a tad big too. So instead of Frankenstein shins, new shins it is (: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
