I can tell you is that on my own ROTJ scout boots, the velcro is 1", but the stitching that shows on the outside is about 20mm.

I don't know how many GMLs are going to ask you to put a ruler on the boot velcro for basic clearance, but I'd check with them if you're unsure.

Helmet Build. Followed the mold and pencil marks. Ear check. More? Too much?

Finding putting the helmet halves together a bit difficult. The brim of the RS helmet left side is a bit wider than the right (measurement confirms). Has anyone encountered this? What am I not doing here?
