Let’s see if any of the others have advice on that. another idea might be a rotary tool with a sanding bit. That knocks it out pretty clean. -Mike

I used my dremel with a round sanding drum it removes the return edges in seconds. Alternatively you could use a piece of 80 grit sandpaper or a file. The last thing you want is armour bite from sharp edges, try an trim some more if you can. 1
KOtrooper Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Rotary tools are great and very useful for kit buildings (cutting/sanding/drilling). You can often get a decent one for cheap. Powered sanders will take the edge off quick. You can also tape some sandpaper to the table and rub the armor on it until the excess edge goes away. I'd really recommend you sand/file it down. For your comfort and overall kit accuracy. I think you'll be much happier with it. 1
FogOut Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Trimmed As recommended, to trim the return edge. Both biceps done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
FogOut Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Did some gap filling today. Styrene rods, sheet, putty. Abs cards, filled trimmed, putty and zap a gap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FogOut Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 Do I need to have this parts glued? Can i use Velcro for both the side armor connection with the front and back armor? That would help during packing for transportation.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FogOut Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 Good weather today. Did a quick run outside to spray the chest armor Took out the old flexible ruler to get the 38mmSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Mine are. But I can see how removable bridges could be beneficial. The CRL just requires the “Chest and back plate meet flush at the sides.”Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

FogOut Posted February 7 Author Posted February 7 Continue with weathering. Ran out of pigment for wash, will go get some today. Will follow up with airbrush and a final wash. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
FogOut Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 Washing. Mixed a new batch of pigment for washing, leaving the chest armor out to dry. Will go over with a damp cloth later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Basically, unless it's called out in the CRL - use whatever strapping method you need to use. Sent from my Pixel 8a using Tapatalk 1
