FogOut Posted December 26, 2024 Author Posted December 26, 2024 Add some airbrushing I ll need to wait for clear weather to do a Matt coat to seal the paint work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
Aradun Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 I’m enjoying watching your work on this. Keep up the great work!
KOtrooper Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Great work on the weathering. I'd add in a layer of grime in the edges of the square recessed boxes before you do the clear coat. Air brushing isn't an ideal method for weathering the shore. It's too soft and uniform.

FogOut Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Finally progress on the greaves Had cut this part cos Imperial Surplus videos cut them for Tank trooper. Had to do some repair work. On both sides Mounted the sniper plate too much “forward” had to rip it off, patch it up sand off the glue and Abs on both pieces. Moved in back. I think this is the final placement for everything. Will work on the straps next. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FogOut Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 I think I m on track. Will clean up the back, will be a tight fit. Surprisingly it’s kinda relax when I started walking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FogOut Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 2 TD are painted not in photo. Left with main body armor to work on next. Bicep and greaves awaiting painting. Been raining non stop for the past 3 days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
FogOut Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 Guys I m stuck here Need help. There’s no marking “grooves” on the shoulder bell to mark where these goes. No measurements from the videos also not in photo are 2 pairs of rectangular blocks to hold on the strings that goes into the hooks on the bicep armor. Any numbers I can work with much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My shoulder snap is approx 1 3/8” from top to center snap. my bicep snap is approx 4 1/4” from bottom to center snap. My top snaps are in place based of how they sit on my bell supports. But the snap itself should get you started. Then fine tune with the length of the elastic or webbing you decide to use to attach to the chest. Here’s my support setup (also Mr. Paul): Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other Qs. Mike

FogOut Posted Friday at 07:41 AM Author Posted Friday at 07:41 AM More priming sanding and painting The usual reaction. Might be the moisture Wet sanding Left bicep done. Test fit before glueing shut Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
KOtrooper Posted Monday at 12:30 AM Posted Monday at 12:30 AM Nice progress! Mike's steering you in the right direction for the male snaps. Make sure the bottom male snap on the shoulder bell is high enough to help hold up the bicep armor. Took me a few tries with the elastic and female snaps to get it just right (was doing all of this solo) so make sure you have extras. 1

MikeRadness Posted Monday at 04:42 AM Posted Monday at 04:42 AM Just a quick observation. These little lips (green arrow) can be removed, taken down to where the yellow arrow is pointing. I’m sorry I didn’t catch it on your previous post with the biceps. Hope this helps. Mike
