BikerScout007 Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 I've written far too many of these this year. This one hits close to home, as this trooper was in my Garrison and I did one of my last few troops with him. At 23, he is far too young to be gone. Lucas Macaj was an enthusiastic member of the 501st and the Rebel Legion. Though he was only a Pathfinder for just a few months, the Scout was a favorite of his and he wore it often. Besides being an avid outdoorsmen, Lucas served his country as a member of the Marine Corps and Space Force. He died doing what he loved, hiking in the Rocky Mountains. You have been added to the Eternal Pathfinders, trooper. The Force will be with you.... always. 4 12

plushie Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 I am a mess.. He was so freaking nice. I last trooped with him on Yuri's Night. I was hoping he would be found safely with his military training. Allen last month, now Lucas. It's a painful time for us at Mountain Garrison. He was so gosh darned nice. I hate thinking of him in the past tense. From March, at a special needs all stars troop... https://imgur.com/a/skE21H9 3 2

MrPoopie Posted May 17, 2024 Posted May 17, 2024 This is a rough one for sure. No words for what his family must be going through. I will say, at least there is closure for them now that he was found. 2
