Crowprops vs Keeptrooping(Imperialboots)?

Deciding which boots to go with. Both soles aren't 100% accurate, for the extra $60, are the keeptrooping boots more accurate for lancer status?

Keeptrooping/Imperial Boots scout boots will not clear Level 2/Lancer for a number of reasons, but most specifically due to the width of the toe strip.

Perfect, don't know how I missed that. Is the toe strip on the crowprops boots an issue since it doesn't lay flat due to the shape of the sole?

We have approved at least two troopers over the past few years for Level 2 Lancer with the Crowprops boots, so they will clear.
