Valafar Posted July 20, 2024 Posted July 20, 2024 I got 29 instead of 33, but 6 and 13 is what I did as well 1
Sithping Posted August 3, 2024 Author Posted August 3, 2024 Making progress with the greaves... Got a few more pieces to glue in place before filling and sanding, then I can bash on with the primer and paint. Shims cut to size to fill inside void to make flush for joining both halves, boomerang and sniper plates cut, sanded and trimmed. Rear cover strips fixed in position for the open rear closures. Front greaves fully secured closed sealed with contact adhesive. 1
Sithping Posted August 14, 2024 Author Posted August 14, 2024 Update on the greaves..now fully assembled, primed and painted. Next will be the aging washes for the weathering.. 2
Sithping Posted August 18, 2024 Author Posted August 18, 2024 Today's updates include strapping for the biceps and shoulder bells. I'm pleased with the fit and positioning of the straps, and they hold up really well when kitted up for test fit. 1
TreeHuggerMatt Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Looking ace Paul. Can’t wait to see it in person
Sithping Posted September 5, 2024 Author Posted September 5, 2024 Some work done on my belt securing the boxes. 1
Sithping Posted October 20, 2024 Author Posted October 20, 2024 All armoured parts assembled. Test fit for adjustments...few minor dressing issues, but easily resolved with assistance when kitting up. E22 stunt is on the horizon...looking for additional reference pics for bolts and screw placement any help would be greatly appreciated. 2
BikerScout007 Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 That's looking really good! There are a slew of E-22 builds in this forum: https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/forum/128-shoretrooper-weapons/
welshchris77 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Great build, about to order my breaches, top and neck seal from Keep Trooping, can I ask what size you went with and what height and waist size you are please Paul?, I am 6’.1 and 32” waist but usually get 34” waist in trousers I case be weight fluctuates, thinking XL to be in the safe size but perhaps L would be ok 1
Sithping Posted December 17, 2024 Author Posted December 17, 2024 Hi Christian, I'm 5'10" and usually go between a 34 and 36" waist. So I went with a medium shirt and large breeches from Keep Trooping. The neckseals are made slightly large to easily adjust and tailor to your needs, fortunately mine is just about right and not too tight. Hope this helps, good luck! 1

Sithping Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 Photo dump of my blaster build so far... 2
Sithping Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Spent parts of the day continuing with filling and sanding, then applied a coat of black primer over the whole blaster. Next will be couple of coats of gun metal with liquid latex before final black applications and weathering. 1
KOtrooper Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Nice work!!Sent from my Pixel 8a using Tapatalk 1
Sithping Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Thanks Melody! First coat of gun metal applied. To be continued 2025.... 1
Sithping Posted January 1 Author Posted January 1 I'm allowing some extra curing time on my blaster paint today as its a bit cooler outside. Instead I applied some weathering to my breeches using a gypsum based product. 1
