Making progress with the greaves...

Got a few more pieces to glue in place before filling and sanding, then I can bash on with the primer and paint.

Shims cut to size to fill inside void to make flush for joining both halves, boomerang and sniper plates cut, sanded and trimmed.

Rear cover strips fixed in position for the open rear closures.

Today's updates include strapping for the biceps and shoulder bells.

I'm pleased with the fit and positioning of the straps, and they hold up really well when kitted up for test fit.

All armoured parts assembled. Test fit for adjustments...few minor dressing issues, but easily resolved with assistance when kitting up.

E22 stunt is on the horizon...looking for additional reference pics for bolts and screw placement any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great build, about to order my breaches, top and neck seal from Keep Trooping, can I ask what size you went with and what height and waist size you are please Paul?,

I am 6’.1 and 32” waist but usually get 34” waist in trousers I case be weight fluctuates, thinking XL to be in the safe size but perhaps L would be ok

Hi Christian,

I'm 5'10" and usually go between a 34 and 36" waist.

So I went with a medium shirt and large breeches from Keep Trooping.

The neckseals are made slightly large to easily adjust and tailor to your needs, fortunately mine is just about right and not too tight.

Hope this helps, good luck!

Spent parts of the day continuing with filling and sanding, then applied a coat of black primer over the whole blaster.

Next will be couple of coats of gun metal with liquid latex before final black applications and weathering.

I'm allowing some extra curing time on my blaster paint today as its a bit cooler outside.

Instead I applied some weathering to my breeches using a gypsum based product.
