zediyeti Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Hi, I recently acquired some of the proper 3m concave bolts for my helmet. I have a mon cal helmet, and they are just barely too short to fit all the way through the resin dome. Is there anyone that can point me in the direction of some advice on getting them to fit? i don’t want to sand down the wrong spot and compromise the integrity of the helmet. I’ve tried searching on here without much luck. We’re talking 1-2mm too short, so there’s surely a way to get them on!
Chopper Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 You could PM Lou Darth Voorhees @Darth Voorhees. He was making 3D versions of the 3M bolts with a real metal screw. You could try asking him to see if his might fit better. 2

I sent him a message, maybe he’d be able to glue in a longer one or I could try to unglue and add my own in. Thanks for the rec! 1
