Christopher R.
So I'm having some trouble with how my tank conforms to by backpiece. When I shape it to the proportional size there's overhang on the bottom, and there's a small gap in between the two. When I size it with no overhang it's far too small. So what should I do here, flatten the end so there's no overhang, should I fill in the gap or let it be, Should I just make it really small, or somethin entirely different? Chopper
The tank needs to look like this: As to how best to achieve that with a 3D model, I'll have to tag in @MrPoopie.
MrPoopie
The edge of the tank that sits against the back needs to conform to the back shape. You'll either need to scale both models at the same time to keep those shapes lined up or you'll need to cut into the tank model. after you've scaled it so that it conforms.
Christopher R.
Will cutting into the tank keep it eligible for passing certification?

When I say cutting, I mean cutting the 3D model before printing. As long as the shape conforms to the shape of the back and it sits fairly flush it will meet the CRL requirements. Hopefully that makes sense.
