I've had this WTF kit sitting here for FAR too long, and I'm finally dedicating time to get it done. Soft good are mostly covered already - coveralls still need the saddle and buttflap attached, and the whites are being made.

My big fear is the trimming - I'm petrified of taking too much off. That, and getting the helmet and back tank / armor put together. I'll get some pics together to show where I'm at with the trimming tomorroow. I'm mainly starting this to help provide accountability to myself while I work on it. Any advice is, of course, greatly appreciated!

Hello there!  If you haven't already, give our Armor Tutorial vid a watch.  Hopefully that may answer some of the questions you have:

Be sure and post up any photos of your progress in this thread and our Armor Team will be able to assist with your build!

Trimming can be intimidating. What many do is draw lines in pencil and post the photo for the armorers’ feedback before actually cutting anything.

Give the video BikerScout007 posted. It will ease your worries and fears and then post some photos here like he said. We’re happy to help you out.

BikerScout007 ‘s video is great! It’s been my go-to, along with a few favourite build threads.

Whilst I have a trimmed SC kit, I’ve still had to make some adjustments. This is far easier to put together than my TK, although I totally get the nervousness of making that cut
