Weathering

Working on my first set of armour, and I'm wondering how to do the weathering for a The Mandalorian Scout?

This thread has a good technique to use. It's not the only way, but it is one way to do it.

That technique uses oil pants, which is an option. I've also seen it done using acrylic paints as well.

I used artists oil paints following Christine's tutorial.  I ended up using one color mostly.  The thing I like about the oils is you can "wash" them off with Isopropyl alcohol and start over if needed.  I don't know if acrylics are removable.
