clonecollector
Sorry for posting but I could not find this using the search function. How should the shins be assembled? Should they be permanently glued together so that my foot just slides in? Should they be assembled with the back permanently close and the fronts open so the cover plate fits over the join after I slide my foot in? My kit is the imperialsurplus V2 kit. Thank you in advance for any input.
KOtrooper
You kind of do what works for you. Mine are all glued together because I'm able to slide my foot in. That won't work for some so they leave the fronts open (or laced with elastic straps) to give a wider opening to slide their foot through. I looked at the imperialsurplus assembly videos this weekend but wanted to know if there was set standard to assemble the shins. I was thinking that keeping the fronts open was probably the clean looking option for being able to put the shins on. (If I can't just slip them on fully closed)
