RS/Screen Used Measurements

Hi! I was wondering if anyone with an RS scout or enough knowledge of the real thing would know the distance between these points? (The second one is across the headband from circle to circle, if that wasn’t clear)

Yea I have the image with those measurements. basically I’m concerned I’ve cut my two helmet halves short or at a slight angle or something because for the life of me I can’t get them together neatly. Maybe I haven’t and I just need to cut back some more in places, but I don’t want to risk. These front and back measurements should help me know exactly where I am 😊

Going off my RS, that distance you highlighted is exactly 43 inches.  Hope that helps!

You mean the back right? Mines currently sitting at 3 😬

Haha phew 😆 well at least I know the back sits nicely. What about round the headband, circle to circle?

If you bought a genuine RS from the studio, it would have come with a pencil mark around the helmet half’s , indicating the cut line .

did you cut it shorter than the pencil line  ? If so you may need to assemble it with a gap which you will fill after assembly and before paint .
