Shoulder Bell attachment to the Chest/Backplate

Hey guys, 

I'm putting together a ST specialist, using Sean Fields files.   For those who are familiar with this build, how do the shoulder bells attach to the chest/backplate?

The CRL is not very clear on requirements and the photos aren't great for reference either.

Any tips or tricks that someone could offer?

Most of just use T-straps!
