Giro118 Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 So I'm looking at my helmet and keep asking myself if this is to weathered. I like it but not sure if I want to redo it. All feedback is welcome
BikerScout007 Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Honestly, given how discolored the TV troopers are, it doesn't look that off to me. Can you get a pic outside in the daylight?
plushie Posted March 16, 2023 Posted March 16, 2023 Throw some green in there, go crazy! Scouts work for a living! Here's the weathering on mine.

Chopper Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 It may be near the borderline of being too much, but I'll reserve final assessment until I can see it in outdoor lighting. 1
Giro118 Posted March 21, 2023 Author Posted March 21, 2023 https://imgur.com/a/zVawyR7 https://imgur.com/a/YGM7cHF Here are 2 photos in daylight. I'm in the process of re weathering my armor so if it's to weather I'm gladly gonna add it to the re weather pile. Thanks for the feedback
Chopper Posted March 21, 2023 Posted March 21, 2023 Thanks for the additional photos. With the outdoor lighting, I think what you have is okay. You can check what you have against the SDCC photos, which were also set against bright lighting: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/topic/21147-sdcc-mandalorian-scout-reference/
Giro118 Posted March 28, 2023 Author Posted March 28, 2023 So I re-weathered all my armor and I think it looks a lot better Attached are photos https://imgur.com/a/M00z7Tw
Giro118 Posted November 30, 2023 Author Posted November 30, 2023 https://imgur.com/a/gWvyqts Here is a photo of my gf and me outdoors in our remannt scouts. This was my 3rd attempt to reweather I found better paint that matches more.
Retrofire Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 That's looking just fine. Less is more when it comes to weathering. You can always touch it up if you need but it's a pain to remove if it's overwhelming. Good work!
