Thank you very much , for the warm welcome.I've followed crowprops for instance , for the glove and boot set  and cumberbond with pouches set.

I was wondering if there was a les expensive alternative for the globes and boots.I might still go for that, but I just want to check other options first.

There are very limited amount of vendors for the parts. As far as the boots go, crowprops is the only vendor. He's who I went through for my boots. I know there are some individuals on here who bought a pair of boots and altered them. The gloves can either be purchased at wampawear.com or crowprops.com or if you're feeling adventurous I know some people here who made them from scratch. I have wampawear, I love them, they're comfy. Crowprops gauntlet greeblie is a little more accurate.

My kashyyyk hard parts just arrived yesterday, helmet is big enough , but the snout is slightly warped , the tank has a slight fold on the side.

I am not seeing the warp much. One of the benefits of the kit is that the camo helps hide imperfections. If you need some ideas with the fold in the tank, let me know.

Didn't take a picture yet of the warp, Will do that tomorow.Do you have close-ups of the connection between the chest and back, shoulder strapping.Mainly the pieces that go on top.

I just have velcro as a bridge between the two on the bottom. Then I have velcroed a piece of craft foam on the top. It's nothing spectacular looking.

Here is a pic of another trooper that clearly shows what the craft foam is supposed to look like.

I hope I'm not the only one who has a warp like this on his helmet kit, the helmet is very A-symmetrical, I expected more honestly.I can correct it with much work , by glueing and adjusting it with abs chips and bondo , but I'm not really impressed by this quality. Will see what I can do , to improve it

Made some proggress , but to be honest, the armor parts are very thin, in some areas almost see-through , In some areasI had to use a lot of Fiberglass sheets and Resin.

Will still be dying the unform , into a darker color ofcourse.

Far from done with the chest and back, but the fiberglass was a good choice for reinforcing the interior, will padd the inside with neoprene sheets.

Testing with camo, just testing with different shapes , that's why I'm taking my time with it.Still using Ral 1014 here as base color, Will gowith a darker version, on the armour parts

With minor skuff marks, satisfied with the "Ral 1001" color-code option, will paint the armor in full base color, before camouflaging .

Got my Visor in from "Kalevala Visors"

361646361-6836596559693540-4301353008205

Satisfied with the quality, seams very strong.

Also worked on the boot armor, used Tan cotton strapping

Still need to do the boot-nose armor and the knee parts, than I can start camouflaging

I'm also replacing all rubberstrapping with leather, still need to do the Knee-strapping, because I'm making the clips seperately.

Finally 4 weeks of vacation, enough spare time to work on this project.

I started by padding the biceps, as I've never worked with neoprene before , I had to test a few glues to work with, the only glue that worked for me,without leaving a mess,  was hotglue, works like charm, but the material is difficult to work with when you need to cut. That why I use scissors with it, and a tiny nail-clipper to get into those difficult corners.
