SoCaliBuckeye
Question regarding the trapezoid piece and the rank bars for the tank. The trapezoid piece is only required if the tank has 4 bars and I have the stickers that came with the Studio Creations armor I bought, but it didn't include the trapezoid piece and the rank bars are not the correct thickness. Does anyone have a lead on where I could get those or measurements to make my own? Much appreciation!
Dart
If you're going for the 4 bar tank markings, I believe the lines are 1/4" wide, unless someone corrects me. As for the trapezoid, if you have the same striping as above, you can probably make it with that as well.
Chopper
Yes, the 4 bars are double the width of the 6 bar stripe width. The trapezoid should only be present if you're using the 4 bars. I made mine using one of the standard bars and I used an exacto knife and ruler to cut the ends to shape. 2

Do you mind me asking what the width of the washer is that you used on the top of your tank topper?

Chopper
That washer appears to be too big. You want something smaller, like in the photo below. Note that the washer is smaller than the white circle, while in your photo they're close to being the same size. You want something that's about this size. Note that this is not an exact measurement requirement and it is not stipulated as such in the CRL. I'm just trying to give you a sense of scale. This washer I used is a back up plate, as came in a pack of these: https://www.acehardware.com/departments/tools/fastening-tools/rivet-backup-plates/2014215 If you have an Ace or TrueValue hardware store near you, they usually have a section where you can but loose nuts, bolts, screws, and washers. You should be able to get a similarly sized washer for about .07 or .08 cents.

I don't want to lean on you or Cadet Ficker with the Ohio Garrison too much, but the knowledge and expertise that you all share with us newbs, is priceless and much appreciated! DukeOfNachos
I bought a pack of like 60 when I started on my kit off amazon after going neurotic on build threads and using my RL job skills to figure out what I needed. Needless to say I could supply a few builds with webbing/zipties/anchors for my local garrison
Aradun
Lean on us! It’s what we’re here for. We want to get you across the finish line so keep asking those questions!

As I'm building my suit for an eventual Lancer approval, would be it be more appropriate to ask these questions in my WIP thread or if the Lancer Deployment Request forum best for this? Chopper
A Lancer deployment cannot be submitted until you have basic approval through your garrison. You can ask general questions about your build in your WIP, but note that the Level 2/Lancer review process involves a multiple person review team and can take some time to complete the assessment. For that reason, we do not do Lancer "pre-reviews".
