Bocian
So finally almost after more than a year i received my hard armor kit from KB props. Originally i was going to do a captain build but decided last minute to switch to a specialist as i kind of like the way the red accents look. Currently scouring the internet around for the soft parts. I'll probably post an updated post once i actually order those. I don't have a specific timeline for this one just hoping i can finish it by the end of the year if free time allows. I don't have much building experience as previously all i did was assemble and paint some Warhammer mini's but nothing to this scale. Excited either way to start on this! I was going to ask though but is there a guide somewhere or FAQ that lists some good basic tools to get? I'm assuming some claps, dremel, cutters, and etc would help but unsure what tools are needed for something like this.
BikerScout007
We have a pretty solid list of Shoretrooper vendors here: As for tools -- Dremels are always great. Lexan scissors for cutting plastic. A leather punch for putting holes in the belt for Chicago Screws. Or the plastic for adding snaps. A snap tool! Sanding blocks. Different types of glues. Lots of painters tape! A good way for seeing what is needed is by reading through some of the WIP threads on the forum. http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/forum/129-shoretrooper-wip/ Any questions at all just post them up. We have a great Shoretrooper Armor Team of @KOtrooper and @Minimo
Minimo
Welcome!!! As Mickey said, going over the wips will give you a better understanding of the process and tools needed for the build. Scout those out and feel free to hit us up with any questions!!!
KOtrooper
Stock up on e6000 glue. That'll be your best friend. Just don't leave the cap off.
