Anti Fog film?

Recommended Posts

Looking for anti-fog solutions for the visor.  Has anyone used an anti-fog film?

I know some people use this stuff, which is designed for swimming goggles:

I know scouts and other bucket heads in my garrison who use a dab of soap on the inside lens and rub it in with a microfiber cloth. They swear by it. Personally, fog isn’t an issue for me, so I’ve not tried this method myself.

I use Rain-x on my TK but haven’t bothered with my TB. The air vents make it a non-issue so far.

Some of the the armored ladies in my garrison love the Cat Crap brand that Chopper posted, but they use the spray bottle. I also saw it available on Amazon.

I'm not a scout veteran, but I haven't had much fog issue on the lenses, even when I get plenty of condensation around the mouth area. I am grateful for those open ears :)

I've put together several different helmets, and it seems easier to install the lens with gaps near the nose.  This combined with the ears makes fogging a non-issue.  I've lifted my visor and had it rain condensation, so I think the gapped lens really helps.
