Shoretrooper Chest Plate question

Recommended Posts

I have been working on Shoretrooper for a couple years. While all pieces for individually, I finally suited up yesterday with everything. A friend who doesn't cosplay helped me (how do you all suit up alone!). So a few things are crooked.

I feel like the chest plate is way too big.  I couldn't get the helmet to sit correctly as they were rubbing on the back. I also think once together the forearms are oversized for my arm size.  I had all the pieces printed to my measurements, so I'm a little disappointed. Do you get the same read from the picture?

Looking for suggestions to salvage this.

I can't get the file size right on my phone, but loaded the picture here. https://photos.app.goo.gl/s5FcajJgEtThMVVU8

Welcome to the club of not being able to move your head much once suited up. I had to work quite a bit to get the neck brace further down so I had more room to move my head.

I'm able to get completely suited up except for my shoulder bells with bicep armor attached. Every kit is different though.

Your kit looks a little large. You can shave and pull in the arm armor parts. The chest looks really big. Can you replace it with a smaller one? You should still get cleared for basic with it though. I'd try to pull in the shoulder bells and even out the bicep positions.

Forarm armor is big but you can shim them down. I'd do one step at a time and send another photo.

Melody beat me to it, but I agree.  You could probably work with most of it, but that chest (and I'm guessing the back piece too) should be printed smaller, if you possible.

Just a suiting up note, but your striped bell is on the wrong shoulder.
