ridersanon71
Hi All Sorry its been so long since I have last posted any stuff but i would like some help with my pistol. I am not sure what paint to use and if i should use matt or gloss as it is a 3d printed pistol from Imperial Arms. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ridersanon71 https://www.flickr.com/gp/195880657@N02/10k8H75Y8t https://www.flickr.com/gp/195880657@N02/aYgWxF5yp7 https://www.flickr.com/gp/195880657@N02/n91df0Q527
Chopper
I can't speak to what kinds of paint are typically available in Australia, so I'll defer to @M.J for that, but flat, matte, or semi-glass black finish is just fine for the scout blaster. If you want a paint that won't rub off, then you should use spray paints.
M.J
Thank you Chopper. Hi Chelle, pop into Bunnings you'll find they are cheaper than auto barn or the paint shop. I normally go for what I have left in the shed from spraying other items. (I have a big tub of paints) A basic spray paint for plastics aka toys, it will come in a semi gloss as well, they will also have swatches to show you which looks best, chat to the Bunnings expert about the paints, though you should be looking at around $7 to $15 depending on which one you use . Good thing is if you paint a flat matt and dont like it just spray over it with gloss or semi gloss you cant go wrong. 1
