Scout Trooper Faceplate - Hold Open

Hello all, 

I am so close to having this armor all done. I had Studio Creations build my armor and helmet and he was trying to describe a way to have the faceplate stay open. Unfortunately I just don't get it. How do you all keep your faceplate open. FYI.. I am not wanting to take it apart if possible. Thanks for the help.

Unless I’m miss understanding your question, the faceplate should just stay open when you lift it up. If it doesn’t, then try tightening your bolts a little bit and that should do the trick.

I think on the RS helmet there is a little notch in the helmet which supports the faceplate when it’s lifted up. But that is just a guessing. I myself have a SC helmet and it’s like Dennis said, just tighten the bolts and the faceplate stays open. At least most of the time… :-D sometimes it tends to come down while you are chatting with another person. ;-)

Another Studio Creation helmet here that just stays open on its own with the bolts tightened down sufficiently.
