Hey, I'm another new guy here.

Does anyone know where to find a helmet that'll fit someone with an XL head (24")? I was considering getting the Studio Creations armor/helmet kit, but the site says their helmet's sized M/L?

(And on a side note, is SC even still in business? Their site doesn't look like it's been updated in years.)

Hey, welcome to the Pathfinders!  SC is alive and well and one of the more popular armor makers here in the US.  As for buckets for those with larger head sizes, check out Walt's Trooper Factory.  https://www.facebook.com/WaltsTrooperFactory/.  You can reach out to him via Facebook to confirm sizing for your needs.

The SC armor should fit you fine, but their helmet is on the smaller size.

The WTF bucket is one of the less accurate buckets out there and frequently comes up due to its build, fit, and assembly difficulty. The WTF helmet also won't clear Level 2/ Lancer if that's important to you.

If you're looking for a larger sized bucket, I would check with Kropserkel for their helmet, or with Spike on these forums for his Altmann bucket.

I'd also recommend the RS Props if you feel like throwing down the big bucks.  It's as accurate as you can get and it's plenty big.  I am big-domed and my head fits in it just fine

Like Corey said, Kropserkel is also a good choice.  They are closing up shop but they still have some stock left.  It's inexpensive and an easy build.

Do you have links for either of these? I searched for the Kropserkel bucket, but couldn't find anything for sale on their site?

Yeah I considered the RS or MonCal kit, but both are pretty pricey for me.

Try contacting Kropserkel about a helmet here: https://m.facebook.com/Kropserkel/

And @spike recently posted about a ready to ship Altmann helmet here: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/23369-alt-scout-helmet-for-sale/#comment-220020
