Scarif20J
Once upon a time I saw a post about supporting/bracing the inside of the boot “sleeves.” Using thin plastic sheeting so they stand up and don’t fall down the leg. Who here has done that? I’m gonna try, but not sure how to attach the plastic to the vinyl. Does this make sense?
Chopper
Most people use an elastic strap stitched behind the holster to prevent boot droop, but a few have done what you're describing. Let me check around and see if I can find any photos of it. 1
Dart
Usually, it's just done to the right boot due to the weight of the holster and blaster. I use an elastic band that goes through a loop on the leg of my jumpsuit to help keep that all up and in place. 1
Aradun
There’s an image on page 2 of this tutorial that shows a plastic sign being used to add support. There’s also photos in this thread show what Chopper and Dart are referring to. Should give you some ideas.http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/19708-biker-scout-boots-tutorial/page/2/In addition to the elastic strap around the leg, I sewed a piece of hook to the inside of my strap where it attaches to the boot (think outer calf) and a piece of loop to the outer calf of my flight suit for additional support. 1
