ScoutsAreCool
Do you guys have any recommendations? I'm thinking of buying from either Moncal's or from studiocreations.
Chopper
You can look at this post to get a sense of the different armor makers that are out there: http://forum.501stpathfinders.com/index.php?/topic/17774-the-ultimate-armor-comparison-thread/ "Best" would depend on what you're looking for -- accuracy, price, shipping speed? Both Mon Cal and Studio Creations are good choices and are popular sellers for those who are in the US. The Mon Cal armor is better suited for medium build folks, so if you're larger, then that might not be the best fit. Both Mon Cal and Studio Creations come fully trimmed, so they're a little quicker to build. If your primary criteria is accuracy, then RS is the way to go. You're also paying a premium for that level of accuracy, plus it's coming from the UK. Let us know if you have any further questions.
ScoutsAreCool
I'm around 5'7 and about 120-130 pounds. Who would you recommend for someone my size?
Chopper
You might need to do some trimming on some parts, but for your size, I think Mon Cal would work quite well.

troygordon2
I'm 6' 180, and the SC kit was excellent and shipped quick. No real reason I went with them over Moncal, but the Scout kit was available, the contact/customer service excellent, and the price fair. The plastics used are all very nice too. I recommend staying away from the Walt's Trooper Factory stuff. It's quite flimsy and has a poor reputation.
WEBS
Hey Fellow Trooper, MonCals all the way my man!!! Definitely agree with Chopper on this. As my first build I did a shadow scout and was clueless where/who/what to buy and get quality Build Materials, but I had a AMAZING advisor to help me out so he shot off a few companies and first look at that beautiful black shiny armor I was sold! Got my White Scout armor not too long ago and its magnificent! MonCals FerShure!!!!!

I will only give my opinion if I'm 100% on it... and for the price, quality, and ease of assembly(sewing excluded lol) that's what works for me!
