To paint or not?

You mean painting the armor white and then weathering over it? Are you concerned about diff shades of ABS plastic or something of that nature? Otherwise, that seems like a lot of extra work for not a whole lot of benefit?

That's what I thought but I was wondering if there was some techniques that worked better on a prepped surface? I'm thinking of going with the oil paint weathering similar to Christina's build and didn't know if that required extra steps. Figured I would ask before I started setting down decals and details.

For Christina's method, I don't believe you'll need to do anything like painting the armor white first. It's not needed.
