ROTJ - RS build

Recommended Posts

Hey pals!

Here’s my current Scout kit. It’s a full commission from RS Propmasters. I need to tinker around with fitment and tightening things up here and there, but I’m excited to share and take any feedback or direction!

Looking forward to the next steps of the process (and future builds that I’ll complete with your help!)

Should be an easy pass for basic.  Codpiece might be hanging a little low and loose for my taste, but that's typical with the IB soft goods.

Get your application in and get approved!   Then start trooping!

You’ll definitely fine tune and tweak things once you’re approved and troop in your kit a few times. Things will inevitably shift, sag, and rotate out of place, as you move around and interact with others, so you’ll devise ways to keep things in place as you troop.

Here’s an excellent thread with tips and tricks that will give you a head start on keeping things in place while trooping. I incorporated a lot of this stuff into my own set up and it really helps you stay sharp looking whether your trooping for one hour or four.

Again, none of this needs to be done now. Get your approval photos in, get approved, and get out and troop. Then you’ll see where things need adjusting and tweaking, and you can go from there.

No truer words were ever said. It took me two years and 10+ troops to dial in my TK. I expect the same with my TB.
