Donovan Posted February 20, 2022 Share Posted February 20, 2022 Hello everyone, I recently received my armor kit from RS props and the kit included a resin cast of the detanator tube as opposed to an actual tube and wire. I would like to point out that using the wire wrap will add a considerable amount of weight to your TD so you'll want to beef up the connections to the belt. I used the clips and I added a pair of rare earth magnets on the belt side and TD side to help lock it in firm. Aradun Posted February 21, 2022 Share Posted February 21, 2022 You might also want to consider adding an elastic tab that extends just below the Velcro closure of your bund. The tab has hook on one side and loop on the other and get sandwiched between the Velcro closure of the belt. This will help keep your belt from sagging with the additional weight of the wire wrapped TD. I was going to try adding Velcro to the cod and belt to help but I really like that idea.
