On the back of the scout video I watched the shore one is good too.

I looked after the E-11s after your post and I found that it is also used in the old Battlefront 2 for example. The game isn't canon but for a CRL the Canon-Status isn't important as long as I know. The canon-status could be important on some events when it is said by your local Garrison but it is also the question how hard they look on thing like weapons and co. I think a problem with the E-11s could be the look. I found different looks of teh rifle while the Scout Trooper version in Battlefront 2 (2005) and potentially also the old Battlefront 1 seams to be similar to the Dlt-19x. The Piture should be from one of the old Battlefronts.

The macrobinoculars are also something that could fit in the Scout Trooper Crl.

The pic posted here is actually modeled after a MG42 an updated variant of the MG34 that was more reliable mechanically with a barrel that was easier and quicker to change out compared to the MG34. I do not think there is another example of its use in the SW Universe aside from the game, but I could be wrong.

More than likely it’s use was due to a lack of knowledge by the game designers, and not intentional.

That’s definitely the way to go. I love your passion though and can’t wait to see that passion play out in your WIP once you’re ready to start your build!

Aww thanks Dennis that’s really nice I’d you to say. I was reading your lancer thread earlier ,  I’m certainly not thinking about that but it was more about the little detail stuff that can just add to it. Even for basic clearance or if not to ease my mind if I did wanna upgrade.  That’s said the chefs kit seems 90% that far anyway 😀

thanks again for your kind words and help so far.

Dengar’s rifle is based on an MG42, I believe

Nope. He had a custom modified DLT19 which used an MG34 as the base. The barrel shroud is the dead give away when trying to identify a MG34 from a MG42. The shroud in the pic below is a MG34 (i.e., DLT19).

Compare that to the barrel shroud of a MG42.

Folks, if we're going to start debating Dengar's weapons, may I suggest that we either stay on topic or continue the discussion in "The Barracks" 😁
