I was wondering if the biker set from Imperial Boots would be wise to buy. I’m wondering because it includes a lot of the soft goods that I’d need. I’d order the armor, blasters, and odds and ends elsewhere of course.

Basic clearance. I’m not looking to do anything super fancy. And yes. For the ROTJ Scout.

In that case, IB will get you most of what you need.

In my experience the IB coveralls tend to run long and might need some tailoring, depending on your body size.

Okay awesome. I’ll probably need to contact a friend who can tailor the coveralls to my size. I run rather short.

By the way, what’s the difference between basic clearance and level 2/lancer?

Hi Miko,

If applicable the differences between level 1 and 2 are shown in the CRL for that costume. The level 2 requirements are indicated as Optional and are typically in blue with the basic requirements (level 1) in black font.

We recommend that folks work towards level 1 first and not try for Lancer directly. The response for this is to minimize frustration and keeping the fun and enjoyment in the process. Check out this post here for some more reasons.
