Tank topper question.

Hello, in regards to the tank topper alignment with the rivet, see pic. the fins arent lined up to the left so putting a rivet in the middle Id have to take away a fin to put the rivet in the center, does it matter for 501st approval how many fins there are?

For our detachment reference/knowledge base, can you tell us which vendor supplied that tank topper?

The number of fins on the tank topper isn't stated explicitly in either level 1 or 2, though we do have photos from the screen costume that shows 8 fins.

For basic clearance the CRL only says:

The top of the tank is flat with a black tank topper detail attached.

• Tank topper features the same greeblies as seen on the screen-used armor.

There's a bit of wiggle room for interpretation there. It is important to note that the linked image in the CRL does show 8 fins.

I've seen a number of different tank toppers that have greebs of various sizes and scales that have all passed basic. For Level 1, I'd say it's probably ok, though I'd verify that your local GML is ok with it as well.

Oh and just to clarify, are you doing a ROTJ scout or a Mando scout?

I was going to do the ROTJ but now Im thinking the Mando...cuz I wanna carry around a punching bag just in case i get frustrated..:/

Alright, so if you do ROTJ, what I posted above still stands.

If you're going for the Mando scout, note that the rivet is off-center, towards the right, on the screen used tank toppers. Or in other words, it doesn't need to be centered if you do the Mando scout with your current tank topper.

this would make sense due to this kit is a Walts and apparently isn't Walts the kit in the show?
