Starting on the armor!

I have talked it over with TK-1066 and we are going to start work on the armor in 2 weeks. I am looking into having someone do the helmet. More on that later.

if anyone has detailed pics of the barc helmet snout part i could offer my services in getting it 3d modeled and made if you like for free

In the gallery there is a concept illustration of the barc. PGFett was already on a good path with his helmet and espescially the snout - so you could ask him....

In case he cannot be found I have a backup of his progress pics.

Hey...just went through six months of divorce (hey, fun!) but I have a complete set of hydrocal bucks for a set of BARC armor that I can't use. They're in the OKC area (too heavy to ship), and I'd be willing to contribute them to the project if they'd be of use.

 

On a side note, I *think* i paid back everyone who had armor ordered and didn't get a set, so pm me through here if you didn't and i'll see about a refund. I also have a couple sets of ABS pulls that are boxed up and not shipped out, so if that's still unresolved just let me know. Paypal royally screwed me over last summer and I'm *still* trying to sort that out, along with the divorce and everything else. Fun! I never even got a chance to build my *own* suit.

UK Scout, I would be willing to share what I came up with for the BARC respirators. It was a combination of a illustration and movie stills.

I would also be willing to send ya a set at no cost if you like as well. I really admire your work and would be glad to help in any way. BTY sculpting that helmet will prove to be difficult !!!! CG's and real life proportions dont match up very well.
