Unfortunately my work schedule and life has put me in a pause with my build...

I am more of a visual guy, so I've been doin vids and pics...

So I would appreciate it VERY much if you can send me pics of your armor and how it's put together inside and out...

Thanks in advance...

If you’re looking for detail on how things are assembled there’s a wealth of up close photos in each Lancer submission. Photos are required of everything for submission purposes so that would be a great place to start.

Hey MAD, the Pandatrooper build is a little bit outdated, but it's still a pretty good guide on how to put together a SC kit. You don't need to do everything he did, but it should still be useful. Hopefully it will help.

Because the thread is somewhat older, make sure also to check the CRL for any references to strapping etc.

Sorry

Okay cleaned up your posts.  First I put them in the Scout WIP forum so they are in the right place.  Then I merged your two separate threads together, and got rid of the double posts.

Finally -- we are having an armor party on October 9th.  You should come on out!

So... TD finished. As far as the back/tank goes I haven't put rivets cause I wanna know if placement of top greeb is okay. For the biceps, glued the Ts and put hooks but what do you all use to secure them in the inside (I put green tape fir now)

Any and ALL feed back would be most appreciated....

I didn't use the wire for the greeblies -- you shouldn't need it. I used E6000 to secure my bicep greeblies and I haven't have any issues yet.

The top tank greeb placement looks fine. Don't forget to paint the white circle.

It's ok that you have the round greeb on the left side, but, if you haven't already glued it down, I would try and center it better on that side of the detonator.

The washer goes on the top of the greeb, but the rivet head can go on either the inside or outside.

Correct, the elastic goes on the inside. You can put a washer on the inside as well, to help hold the elastic and keep it from fraying.

Go ahead and file down that lip on the drop boxes.

Also, try and put your strapping cut here (in blue).

The best option for posting images is to use a photo hosting service, such as imgur or dropbox.

A lot of people use these from trooperbay: https://trooperbay.com/biker-scout-tank-decals

If you don't mind cutting it yourself, you can also use 1/8" automotive pinstriping.

I used the included vinyl stickers from SC to put on my tank. Didn't have any issues.
