KayGee
Belt As Clu said, "The years (and deconstruction) haven't been kind" This thing has been through a few weight changes and 15 years of trooping, SC armour is a monster. Nothing a little ABS paste cant fix Will wait for that to dry up, sand it all down nice, and get rid of the extra top and bottom. After that, try the Panda method of putting a 3 piece belt (back) together. '
KayGee
Cummerbund Unpicked the outer ribs on the c'bund and gave it a wash and iron, hopefully these will fade more with a bit more wear, the chest plate and belt will cover the sections on the edges.
Retrofire
Great work getting those picked out! The bund sits on top of the belt so those sections might be seen but the top will be under your chest so no worries there. Good on ya for updating your kit. You’re doing great so keep it up! KayGee
Shoulder bells have had their edges curved and eased out the mid bell point. Need to find some white 'wet & dry' or spray putty as the paper left particulate in the areas. Would prefer not to have to do a respray. Im assuming that both sides of the belt should have the same amount of overlap, the bottom has more than the top.
Chopper
By overlap, do you mean the amount of plastic between the boxes? The overlap between the front pieces and the back pieces doesn't need to be even, it just needs to look like a one piece belt. The spacing that you set for the boxes should be the same on both the left and right side. If I'm misinterpreting your question, let me know and we'll get it figured out. KayGee
Hey Chopper, I was meaning these areas
Chopper
Ah, yeah. Yes, those should be trimmed down a bit if you can. I'd try to get closer to the top of the boxes...without actually cutting off the top of the boxes.
