Kevin037
I'm about to place my decals on my tank and was wondering if there is anything I need to know. I'm freaking out. Do I need to measure for placement. Also how do we keep our boots on? Can they be tied with the marine vinyal? Thanks
BikerScout007
You don't need to measure to place them. We have a ton of reference photos you can look at to help with placement: http://www.501stpathfinders.com/scoutopedia.php I usually leave my boots untied, they seem to stay on. I've never had to do anything with the vinyl covering to keep them on. Hiking boots usually have a pretty snug ankle and that's always worked for me in the past. Are you having an issue keeping them on?
Kevin037
No. I'm going to start placing the vinyl on and was wondering how you keep them on without tying them due to the vinyl covers most of the laces
Aradun
I am able to tie my boots even with the vinyl. You’ll be fine whether you tie them or not. Some scouts replace the laces with no tie laces. I was thinking about going that route but most of the builds I was referencing didn’t so I trusted the process and it worked fine.

But I mostly leave mine untied.
