So, this being my first post in the forums I'd like to say hello!
Now then, I'm having a little problem fixing a certain part in this helmet. ( It's an 850 Armor Works ) There was chipping at the front chin part (Don't know the term for it) that I tried to fix with Bondo before primer. Unfortunately it did not work and now I'm asking for tips or solutions to fix it. Please and thank you.

Hiya and welcome! It’s really hard to tell what’s going on in the picture. I am no expert at fixing but I recently fixed something similar. I added a piece of scrap ABS as backing to the damaged area, then filled the hole with epoxy, sanded it down after it was cured, then smoothed it out with bondo and filler primer.

You can also fill the hole with milliput (easier to sand) with the backer like @Minimo suggested.

Thank you! I've got time this weekend to try out @Minimo's suggestion. I'll update on the results. Although I've never used milliput before.

Well this is a long time coming. So here is the result of the build. I'm not super happy with a few things done Visor install, paint and weathering) So I think I'm going to shelve this as an example for myself. I'll get another kit, and try again. Maybe Imperial Surplus this time. Side note: The 850 helmet just doesn't fit my head very well.
